Hello Beauties! Today I wanted to do something a little different than most of my other posts. Life is a roller-coaster and it has its ups and downs. It is really easy to get stuck in the lows of life, and forget what being happy feels like. This isn’t to say, that you always have to be happy- that’s unrealistic. But it’s important to remember that the bad times will pass, and there is always light at the end of the tunnel. I found this amazing video on youtube; it is such an inspiring and beautifulvisual poem. I suggest you all watch it because it truly is enlightening. If you ever feel down… just remember you’re not alone and it will get better.
Hello beauties! Using heat on your hair everyday is so damaging, and it’s a good idea to give your hair a break every now and then. That’s why I want to share a easy NO HEAT trick that you can use on your hair to haveeffortless waves. This trick is perfect because it makes it look like you styled your hair, even though you didn’t! It’s super quick and easy to do… so keep on reading to find out what it is!

You start off by parting your hair where you normally part it.
Spray it with some texturizing hair spray, or you can use a texturizing mousse of your choice. This will help give your hair texture and hold the waves better.
Then, section it into 4. (2 sections of hair on each side.)
Braid each section of hair and tie an elastic to keep it secure. (In total you should have 4 braids) It’s up to you on how tight you want your braids to be.
TIP *The looser your braid is, the looser your waves will be and vice-versa.*
Sleep overnight with the braids, and when you wake up and undo the braid… you’ll have amazing beach waves!
Spray in some leave in conditioner to help your hair look shiny and healthy!

Packaging & Price
I absolutely love that I can pump the foundation because otherwise it can get very messy. The pump allows me to control how much foundation I want and is much easier. Other than that, there is nothing really special about the packaging. I got this foundation for about 10 bucks at shoppers drug mart, which is a good price, considering it is a drugstore product.
The foundation feels super smooth and nice. It has a velvety touch and feels exactly like it claims- a liquid mousse! I love the way it feels on my face, and it is not sticky or too thick like other foundations. This foundation is also extremely easy to blend on to the face. It looks so seamless and natural on the skin.
Coverage & Look
I find this foundation provides a light to medium coverage. It was able to even out my skin tone, cover blemishes, and even lighten up the appearance of my dark circles. It also gives a nice glow to the skin. I personally like the healthy and naturally dewy look. If you prefer a matte finish, then this foundation may not be for you. This next point can be a advantage or disadvantage, depending on what you like to use foundation for. It does not have any SPF in it. This is a disadvantage because you have no protection on sunny days, but you could always just wear a moisturizer with SPF, underneath your foundation. It is an advantage because you won’t have a white overcast on your face in flash photos, if you wear the foundation at night.

This recipe makes 2-3 servings.
You will need:
Handful of frozen mango chunks
Handful of frozen blueberries
Handful of spinach
1 cup of milk (you can add more depending on your preference)
Hello beauties! I wanted to create a quick post on how to use the beauty blender properly. If you don’t have a beauty blender, I recommend buying one because it is seriously so worth it! Foundation goes on so flawless and easy.
Use a clean beauty blender.
Soak it in lukewarm water. Or run it under lukewarm water. Squeeze the water out of the beauty blender.
Repeat previous step 2-3 times or until the beauty blender is a lot bigger in size. (It is completely normal for the beauty blender to expand!)

I love using this product for when my lips just need hydration. It is small and easy to take with you on-the-go. It leaves a nice sheen on the lips. I also use it before putting on lipstick because it helps it go on smoother. And of course, the fruity scent is heavenly!
Mango Butter from The Body Shop
Lip butters are a must-have for the winter! My lips get very dry and chapped and this mango butter works wonders! My lips feel so soft and smooth and the smell is so yummy and amazing! You will not regret adding this to your collection!
Smoochies by Covergirl“Kiss & Tell”
It is a bright pink colour that is perfect for spring! It is definitely a buildable shade. Sometimes I’ll apply a thin coat for a light pink, and sometimes i’ll layer it to get a bright fuchsia. It is so moisturizing and leaves a shiny/glossy finish on the lips. I just can’t get enough of this product!
This is my absolute favourite lipstick colour! It is a natural nude pink shade that is so diverse. I like to wear it with bold eyeshadow looks, or i’ll just pop it on when I have no makeup on to give my lips some colour and life.
Maybelline lipstick“405 Yummy Plummy”
This shade is perfect for the fall/winter. Plum shades are so in right now, and this one is definitely my favourite! It looks especially great on deeper skin tones.

Hello beauties!!I decided to do a nice smokey eyeshadow that is perfect for any night out! I chose to do a blue smokey eye, however you can switch it for any colour of your choice! If you want to know how to get this look, continue reading!
1. I applied some foundation to my eyelid as a primer to ensure that the eyeshadow stays on, and so I could get the pigment that I wanted.
2. I applied the dark blue shade to my entire lid. You can apply whatever colour/ shade you want. Pack it on until you get the desired intensity of colour.
3. I used black heart from the naked 3 pallette (you can use any shade of black/ dark brown that you own) and applied it to my outer v and inner third of the lid. Make sure you blend this very well so that there are no harsh lines.
4. I went back and added more blue to the middle of my lid to add more intensity. I also smudged some underneath my lower lash line to bring the look together.
5. I wanted some shimmer, so I used a champagne colour and applied that in the middle of my eyelid on top of the blue to add some sparkle.
6. Lastly, I did a winged eyeliner and applied some mascara.
Voila! In 6 easy steps you achieved a gorgeous eyeshadow look!

Hello Beauties! It’s easy to get caught up in a busy lifestyle and forget to take care of your body and health, but these 5 tips will make it easy for you to get back on track to a healthier lifestyle! *In no particular order
1. Drink water in the morning.
Right when you wake up, you should drink a glass of cold water. This will help jump-start your metabolism for the rest of the day! But don’t just stop there! Drink at least 8 cups of water a day to keep your skin clear and to flush out any toxins out of your body.
2. Smaller plates
This one seems weird but it is probably one of the most useful and effective tips! Using smaller plates will trick your mind into thinking you’re eating more than you actually are! When we use big plates, we try to fill it up with food because we think we need that much, but in reality your body doesn’t need that much.
3. Find a hobby
Exercising can be a daunting task to some- especially if it’s done in the gym, so find an active hobby and start making exercise fun! I personally enjoy dancing, so I try to get in 30 minutes of dancing a day. There are tons of classes you can take for different activities. You’re bound to find something you love! Maybe you’ll like zumba, yoga, or maybe swimming? You’ll never know until you try!
4. Get the right amount of sleep
Sleep is very important because it’s your body’s time to rejuvenate and get ready for the next day. Sleep deficiency is actually linked to an increased risk of heart disease, high blood pressure, diabetes, and stroke. So it’s important to get the right amount of sleep! The average person needs 8-10 hours of sleep to function properly. This will help you improve your focus and provide you with the energy for more effective workouts.
5. Get your juice on!
It can be hard to eat the recommended amount of veggies and fruits in a day for a lot of people. A quick way to get the right servings of vegetables and fruits is to put it in a smoothie/juice. It’s convenient to make and such an easy way to down your greens! A recent fad has been “green juice” and it is packed with the vitamins and minerals your body needs!
